From Gangster to Gospel preacher

Join us at Cumbernauld Free Church, on Friday 22nd of January at 7pm, to hear the wonderful story of God’s salvation in the life of Suraj Kasula.

The 28 year old was brought up in Nepal, in an orthodox Hindu family, but fell into bad company when he was 16 years old. Suraj became a gang leader and got himself involved in knife wars, protection racketeering, alcohol and drugs. However, a little while later, after hearing the life-transforming-message of the Gospel and committing his life to Jesus, Suraj began a new life as a born-again Christian.

For the past 5 years, Suraj has been studying at Edinburgh Theological Seminary and has just completed his ministry training. He will leave Scotland in just over a month’s time and will head back to his native country to take up a church planter post in hometown.

On Friday 22nd, he will be joined with wife Roshani and after they share their story, they are going treat us to some of their native food for supper.

This is a night not worth missing!

Everyone is welcome!
